An Introduction to High Speed Rail: Topics

Introduction to High Speed Rail

Welcome to HSR101, an Introduction to High Speed Rail.

This course is designed to be a general, high level overview of high speed rail and HSR services. This course is not designed to be a comprehensive evaluation of HSR worldwide, but more of a stepping stone to help you get familiar with HSR and the High Speed Rail Learning System. You will explore rail and HSR terminology, check out what countries abroad have done with HSR, and see what plans there are for HSR services in the United States.

Additionally, this course is being used to design and test highly interactive modules using a variety of technologies. It is quite likely that you will not be able to view all of the material if you are browsing this course from a mobile device (phone or tablet).

If you do have trouble, we would love to know about it! Please leave a comment at our forums.
